José Antonio de Dios, REACT Associate for Latin America
José de Dios is the Director for the Americas for Wycliffe International. In this role he leads a team that develops and coordinates partnering efforts with organizations from over 25 countries. These partnerships enable the resourcing training, sending and supporting of workers in Bible translation.
José is also part of the multicultural Wycliffe International Global Leadership Team, the coordinating team of International Partnering Associates IPA and leads COMIBAM International’s Partnership Program.
As a Guatemalan-American, José considers himself part of the “1.5 generation”—a term used to describe those who immigrate to a new country during their childhood. He holds a BA in psychology from the University of California, Irvine, and has completed coursework towards an MA in applied linguistics at the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics in Dallas. Jude Simion, REACT Associate for Refugees and Displaced Peoples
Jude Simion is the executive director of Integral Development Partners, an Australian-based collaborative effort that links individuals and organizations to initiatives for refugee communities and the wider church. He also works with the National Christian Evangelical Alliance of Sri Lanka (NCEASL) as a program consultant. Prior to that he was part of the NCEASL's Senior Management team, responsible for program design and implementation in their work on refugees, persecuted church and peace building projects. He also was responsible for the Tsunami recovery projects through the Alliance Development Trust in Sri Lanka (www.adtlanka.org).
Jude has a background in business, advocacy and youth work having been involved in organizations and companies based or working in Norway, Kenya, South Africa, India, Bangladesh, Israel and Sri Lanka. He has been involved with and contributed to task groups in International forums and conferences with the MICAH Network, VIVA Network, and World Evangelical Alliance. In addition, through the Refugee Highway Partnership (RHP), he initiated the regional network launches of both South Asia and the South Pacific. He serves on the core leadership team of the RHP. Chris Bruno, REACT Associate for Member Health
Chris Bruno is the Director of Restoration Project (www.restorationproject.net), a ministry dedicated to the mental, emotional, and spiritual health of missionaries around the world. He is also a speaker and counselor, focusing his efforts on helping men rediscover their hearts. Previously, he served as the National Campus Director for Campus Crusade for Christ in a country in the Middle East, overseeing a multi-national team of 60+, leading on local, national and regional levels.
Chris is a graduate of Mars Hill Graduate School in Seattle with a MA in Counseling Psychology, and Northwestern University in Chicago with a MA in Speech. He has been involved in international missions for over 15 years, and have invested much of his life, work and energy towards helping those on the field stay on the field. Yazi Adamou, REACT Associate for West Africa
Yazi Adamou is the President of the Niger YMCA, which he founded in 2003. Among other things, it facilitates a number of community development and business training projects. In addition, Yazi is part of the leadership of the global sports coalition and in this position gives birth to new initiatives and coordinates a variety of projects and partnerships in West Africa. He also serves on several non-profit and faith based organizations.
Yazi studied topography (Land and Survey) at the Ecole Nationale d’Ingérieurs de Bamako au Mali and previously served as the National Director of Campus Crusade for Christ in Niger.
